The Pac-12 football game between No. 17 Southern California and visiting Washington State has been moved from Friday night to Sunday.

The game was pushed back to allow for the return of USC players who are in isolation due to testing positive for COVID-19 or because of contact tracing, according to the Pac-12. USC has reported four players with current positive tests and another seven in quarantine.

The game will kick off at 9 p.m. ET from the Los Angeles Coliseum.

USC (3-0, 3-0 Pac-12) paused football operations last Thursday and did not play its scheduled home game against Colorado on Saturday.

Washington State (1-1, 1-1) has not played since Nov. 14, when the Cougars lost 43-29 at home to Oregon.

This will be USC's fifth-ever game on a Sunday, the last happening in the 2000 opener against Penn State. All four previous Sunday games were season-openers.
